Full-scope MEP estimation for a large-format industrial warehouse, encompassing plumbing services, fire hydrant infrastructure, civil stormwater with on-site detention, and large-diameter downpipe networks for high-volume roof runoff.
Calibarium MEP was commissioned to deliver a comprehensive MEP estimation for a new industrial warehouse facility at Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, one of South-East Queensland's key industrial corridors. The project demanded expertise across plumbing, fire hydrant infrastructure, large-scale stormwater management and civil external works, all tailored to industrial / warehouse building typology.
The warehouse's large roof catchment drove a substantial stormwater scope, including multi-diameter downpipe networks (100 mm to 225 mm), on-site detention (11.5 m × 7.25 m tank) and grated channel drainage. The fire protection design centred on a compliant hydrant system with external fire brigade hardstand access.
| Component | Specification | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Stormwater Line | 225 mm | 67 lm + 23 lm civil |
| Stormwater Line | 150 mm | 87 lm + 22 lm civil |
| Downpipes | 225 mm large-format | 23 lm |
| Downpipes | 150 mm standard | 98 lm |
| Detention Tank | 11.5 m × 7.25 m | 1 unit |
| Inlet Pits | 900 mm sq | 4 + 1 sump |
150 hours of excavation works were estimated for the civil underground services.
Calibarium MEP delivered an industrial-grade estimation package addressing the unique demands of warehouse construction, from heavy-duty underground services and large-diameter roof drainage to compliant fire hydrant infrastructure. The comprehensive civil stormwater scope, anchored by the on-site detention system, demonstrated our command of council regulatory requirements for industrial development.
Accurate, code-compliant estimation packages for complex builds across Australia.
